Investor’s Business Daily put out an article this morning providing a bleak but realistic view of the impending showdown with Iran.

This latest resolution discussed previously on these pages was a farce, “requiring” Iran cease iranium enrichment within 30 days. Within a couple of hours, Tehran let the world know it would not comply. Unfortunately, like most UN resolutions, there are no built-in consequences (not that it would matter if there were).

The U.N.’s toothless response to Iran’s defiance on nuclear weapons tells Iran it can do what it wants with no consequences. Once again, the U.S. is in the lonely position of telling a rogue state ‘no.’
