I think reasonable minds all agreed that this “investigation” by the White House was going to amount to what it did:nothing. It did, however, produce one of the greatest examples of lunacy by Sen. Dick Durbin:
“If you do not tax these corporations … they will continue to run up the profits to sky heavens,” said Sen. Richard Durbin, the No. 2 Senate Democrat.
It would be comical if he wasn’t serious.
